My best and worst moments in Sports Science

Over the last few days we have been doing core dynamics.A system where the class/'s does a few different activities consulting sports and fitness.There are 11 different activities which the class did over the past few days,and here are the ones i did the worst and best in.

First of all,the activity i enjoyed most and did best in was the hanging knee lift in which i did 14 in a minute.I enjoyed it the most because it was the easiest to do for me since i have quite strong legs on account of scooting to school from the beach practically every day.

The activity i probably least enjoyed was doing push ups.I managed a measly 6 and i didn't even enjoy doing them.I know i don't have that much upper body strength,in fact, i know i don't have any upper body strength.All of the exercise i do just goes to my legs.Nowhere else,strangely enough.

So i think,if i practised enough,i could probably improve on all of the 11 activities there are greatly!So in conclusion,doing core dynamics was actually fun.Though i hate to admit it.....

The most difficult things about being my age

The most difficult things about being my age 

Probably the most difficult things about being my age are just a couple of things like......Puberty,school,and college.

The first thing I would normally worry about while being 12 is starting to go through puberty.All of the changes over the next few years or so.Height,voice,hair sprouting up in disturbing places and physical changes such as my shoulders broadening.Yeah.......it's all very NOT new to me.I already knew all of this would happen unfortunately.Thanks to the health subject

The next thing I will have to worry about is school.As I am growing up all of the subjects I thought I was quite good at I am suddenly just learning about all of these haaaaaard questions in the world.And do you know what would be the worst homework in the world?Writing out Pi.

The third and final thing i will have to worry a lot about is,you guessed it,college.The main reason I am really worried about college is what if I fail horribly at all of my subjects and fail to pass college.And it could be really difficult to make friends there because only about half of my friends are going to Paraparaumu college.And the only reason I am going to Paraparaumu college instead of Kapiti is because Paraparaumu is easier to get to on a bike.So in conclusion,I have a lot of things to worry about when I am 12

If i were a superhero what powers would I have and why?

If I were a super hero I would most likely have the powers of invisibility,invincibility and the ability of teleportation.Invisibility because I would often have a lot of fun sneaking up on my enemies/friends and knocking them out/scaring them.Plus,I would be the ultimate spy because if I tripped an alarm I would just be able to turn invisible and sneak out unnoticed.Unless they have a heat sensor in which then I will just teleport out which brings me to my next power.....Teleportation.

The fun thing about teleportation is that you can basically teleport anywhere you want.Even the edge of time and space(Just make sure you bring a space suit) and see if the human race is going to end or keep going.Another thing about teleportation is you can commit the biggest crimes ever,but then you wouldn't really be a super hero then now would you?And if someone you know does something mean to you,you can just get them back easy.They would be so confused to find that their food has suddenly been replaced with a barbie doll.

Invincibility would be kind of fun except then I would be like the wolverine.Having to watch all of your relatives die over and over again.But I guess it could be kind of nice seeing new relatives being born.........Or Would it?!?!

What I have learnt in the last 2 weeks

Health-In health I have been learning about what happens when you eventually go through puberty. I have also learnt that it can either take a very long or short time to go through puberty.

Languages-In languages we are learning to describe people's different body parts with adjectives.I do not think I am very good at it though.I can barely say anything.

Life Ed-In Life Ed we are also learning about going through puberty,but in the shape of a ladder.And apparently,all of us are only on the first step to becoming a man/woman.

Technology-In technology in metal work we were making metal fruit bowls.Even though I did not finish mine I think the metal teacher is going to finish it off for me by just painting it a delivering it to me while I am in my newer section,sewing.In sewing the class has been just remembering how everything works.And I have to say,mostly everyone(including myself) already knows how to set up everything.Last Tuesday we were just doing some designs and i based mine off The Lord of the rings-The eye of Sauron

Why cant we......All have laptops?

I personally think it would be good for every student 8 and older to have their own computer/laptop.I think this would be a good idea because most of the school would agree with me that you have to have at least some computer skills if you want to be successful in most of the jobs you will find around the world.

I mean,if every student had a computer/laptop,all the work they did would be a lot easier for the teachers because all they would have to do is assign the students an email with the instructions and because some people know quite a lot about computers,if a student had a problem they could just ask them.

And if  a student needed to talk with another student,they could just send them a message.And if it was inappropriate the teacher could hook up his/her laptop/computer to intercept the message when it was going across and they could track the message back to the sender and tell them off.

basically what i am saying is if the school buys enough laptops over the next 5-7 years for each student,Kapanui school would be a technology school
